Nissan Cube

The Nissan Cube, Nissan's economy MPV, has been a staple in Japan for many years and is finally making it to the United States. Sometimes unkindly referred to as a box on wheels due to its simple styling, the Cube has an inventory of features that may just make it one of the most popular cars of the next few years.
Inside Nissan Cuber
With comfortable seating for five and plenty of leg and headroom, the Cube doesn't sacrifice comfort for space. With more cargo space than a Mercedes-Benz S-class and a foot shorter than the Mazda MX-5, it's compact but surprisingly roomy. Its size makes it very easy to park and maneuver in tight spaces. The Cube's nicely upholstered seats have comfortably wide armrests and it also has a sunroof, rear wiper and defrost and keyless ignition. The rear door opens sideways and the rear seatbacks flip down for increased cargo space should you need it.

Image The Cube will undoubtedly be popular, too, for its exceptional gas mileage especially as the price of gasoline continues to surge. Its lighter weight of 2500 pounds allows for about 35 miles per gallon. The 1.5-liter engine and subtle 88 horsepower engine means it's less powerful than other cars but for efficient, comfortable transportation it just cannot be beat. One of the many unique features of this car is called e-4WD; to engage the rear wheels, simply push a button and you're in all-wheel drive!

With a base price of $13,821 the Cube is sure to be a big hit.
