Religion is a system of faith and worship for the guidance of human beings. Religion is one of the distinguishing factors between human and animals. Religion is not a novel phenomenon to man but was the practice of the very first human being, Hazrat Adam (AS). With the evolution of human races the religion has also evolved to its final form as ISLAM. The basic ideology of all religions was to accept the sovereignty of Almighty Allah and to worship Him alone.

ISLAM is a universal religion as stated by Almighty Allah. ISLAM is not a mere system of faith and worship but also a practical guidance to living a life. A practicality element becomes more evident when it is observed in the ordinary life of people. So to make this element more elaborated I will give my findings and opinions about the practical implementation of ISLAM into my life.

I am an ordinary Muslim with having basic beliefs. As it is a fact that most of us living in this modern world are more inclined towards the worldly charms than towards our religion. I also had this drawback and had suffered a lot in the desire to get more and more in my life in short time. But being a Muslim I often used to refer to my religion, ISLAM, in times of distress and restlessness. What ISLAM advised me was to be thankful to Almighty Allah for what He has given to you, that is, to be content with the present state of your life. It took me a long time to understand this fact due to inclination towards materialistic world. But when I started to accept this fact and made myself more and more acquainted with ISLAM, I discovered a new world of tranquility and state of peace of mind that people desire for. I just understood that why ISLAM is being stated as a blessing and absolution for the humanity.

These feelings are not just because I am a Muslim but have been felt by me as I am moving towards being a true Muslim in spirit and soul. There is a false and negative approach being generated by the anti-Islamic groups and as they have full access and control of electronic and print media, so they are being able to impose their propaganda on the people at large. May Almighty Allah give you the strength and determination that can guide you to the right path, that is, ISLAM.
